Posts: 20 Granger, Indiana | Have a 2009 Vision just hit 10,000 miles, not sure what has or has not been done by previous owner. Anything stand out that I should do? Just ordered new tires and brakes all around. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. |

| Check the inside of the front back-half plastic fender at the mounting bolts on the fork..Recent posts have shown this area to break/crack after a while and can cause the rear half of the fender to come loose and break off with a potential for major steering loss if it wedges in the lower part of the fairing..Many Visions have this issue, many don't...Be safe and check it closely as it could get nasty....Otherwise the bike is great and is the best touring bike out there...When you mount your new front tire check closely for hairline cracks around this area as with the tire/wheel off it is much easier...Check this and other Victory web-site for possible "temporary fixes" as many of us are waiting for Victory Management to address this issue soon......

Posts: 133 , AR United States | Find out if it has any warranty left. By the time my 09 had 10k miles they had replaced the engine casings and cylinders and replaced the radio twice. A dealership should be able to check it's history on computer if they did the work. |
