I've had my 2013 VV for ~6 weeks and 2k miles. The more I ride it the more I like it. It is the first new bike I ever owned (4 others were used). The wife is comfortable (not so on the 2003 Honda 1300ST I traded in). I am way more comfortable than on the ST, especially on long rides. Yesterday was my first "long ride" (250 miles) on the Vision. I only stopped because I had to change from sun glasses to clear glasses at dark. With the back rest, I could doze off, if it was not so much fun.

Coming from a sport-touring bike, I was a little concerned about handling through the curves, but WOW it does great in the curves. Taking recommended 45 mph curve at 70 = no problem.

I made a mistake and added two chrome pieces. I say mistake because, now I want more chrome and stuff.

Welcome to the Vision. There are a couple of Victory specific groups in the Houston area. Bayou City Victory Riders and Lone Star Victory Riders. Check them out on Facebook if you do that sort of thing.

If you want to feel more power and smoothness buy Lloydz timing wheel. Its $162 take about twenty min to do. It is great and you'll be at 70mph befor you know it.

Welcome,
I am an hour south of you in Freeport. Often, I ride west to Wharton then to Richmond/Rosenberg. Or Katy to BCS for a Saturday ride.
250 mi is just about right.
