Barefoot Bay, FL United States | Left headlight out....3 days..low beam only! 4th day..right headlight out, again low beam only. Smack lens..left low beam back on?!?!?! WTF?!?! 5th day, both low beams out..smack lens...nothing. High beams work fine. HID working fine. WTF?!?! witchbiker Grrrrrr |

New Mexico | Sometimes the filaments in the bulb will fail, but then jostling can reposition it, causing it to short across the insulating posts and 'work' again. This is only temporary as the filament will burn out quickly, or move again off the posts.
Low beams and high beams different filaments, so one may work while the other doesn't.

Quad Cities, IL | Speaking of headlight bulb. Does anyone know where I can find a replacement bulb for the low/high beam bulb that matches the HID "white" light? I want the three lights when on to look the same instead of the 2 "yellow" lights with the white HID. If so, any part number, web-link, etc. is appreciated.
I lost my right low beam bulb this week for the first time since owning the bike. I was waiting for this moment to ask the question. |
