i got rid of my 2005 Vn2000 for my 2008 vision.. then i trade the 08 in for a 2011 vision.. The only think i liked about the kaw v2k was the torque and really nothing else... it had crude suspension, seat, brakes were nothing to brag about, 5 speed transmission, horrible way of check oil level with 3 drain plugs and one of them could strip very easily! i even thought the wheels on the kaw's look cheap.. I will never buy another kawasaki again!!!

congrats on your new vision!! its a Major step up !!

Good luck with your new Vision and don't forget to check the bolts on the plastic half on the front fender..Breaks/cracks are becoming more of a constant issue with this set-up...Just saying!!!

No one should take this serious plastic fender issue lightly, brand new Vision or an older one..No intention to fault anyone being very happy with their new bike, but if this fender is breaking/cracking on even newer bikes then those that ride them might like to be aware that this fender half may fall off and possibly cause serious damage...I know I would, it might save my life...BTW, I love my Vision and think it is the best touring bike I have ever owned and at 73 I have had many, many, bikes over the years...But, Victory needs to address this issue and not take it with no regard for rider safety.....No intention to offend or hurt anyone's feelings or egos, but this is reportedly a very serious flaw in the Vision......

Yep, this is a serious problem. It could cause an accident if you don't take care of it. Luckily, four rubber washers only cost about a buck.

I keep a check on my front fender from what I read of the issue. No problem as of 62,000 miles but still being mindful of it.
