Posts: 102 Cedar, Michigan | I'm over the look of the brushed aluminum. Has any one powder coated these parts yet? I know some of the anchors points are "glued" on. Will the powder coating oven cause them to fall off? Thanks for any advice, Matt |

| I had my tins powder coated. No issues with the glue, obviously durable. Go for it. |

| no glue holding any tins in place. Here is a tip. Once you have all the bolts out up on dash and be careful there is one in glove box and in fuel door.
You can pull the side panel all in one. there are two bolts that screw into the back of the front tip overs. Take them out and then take the tip over off and the hole side panel and front trim can come off as one peace.

| I have a 2008 I bought new. I hated the grey pieces with the black so the following winter I got the center console, front trim and the piece under the seat powder coated black. The powder coating worked good on the front as it takes the abuse from flying debris. The center console I had a little problem getting the switches back in as the holes were smaller due to the thickness of the powder coating. Four years later I would do it again. The tail piece is plastic so due to heat I had it painted at a local shop. It has held up well.

Posts: 102 Cedar, Michigan | Thanks for all the comments. I told the powder coater to go ahead and do it. Just no to suspend any of the pieces for the "glued" points. Hope it works out. I'll post some pics next week when I get them reinstalled. |

I powder coated my Rune wheels in gloss black and they came out great. I might do that with my next tire change on the Vision. |

| JV. We are talking about the tin below the windshield. It's brackets that hold it in place on the back of that tin and are held there by adhesive, all stock visions have this set up.

Posts: 102 Cedar, Michigan | I got my tins back and the oven never touched the adhesive on the top plate. It held up just fine, for those curious. |
