They work really great and with the new mounting tape that Victory is using they are rock solid on the bike. The highway pegs are a must have in my opinion also. With this set up I have no problems with heat and we have hot heat here in Dallas, TX. The heat off the Vision is less than the HD Ultra and about the same or a little less than the GL1800 Gold Wing. |

| Another option that helps a little bit is moving the stock wind deflectors out about an inch from closed, it creates some turbulence that disturbs the bubble created by the fairing. |

If the heat really bothers you, try moving your feet farther out from the engine, a set of highway pegs, or tuning the motor to run cooler by adding more fuel, and yanking the cats. |

Wear long paints and tall boots and move your feet around those big fat floorboards Victory gave ya. Oh, and don't sit in traffic while it's above 90 degrees out. There must be 20 Threads on this subject. |

Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | I was out riding in near 100 degree temp yesterday in stop and go traffic and didn't think about the heat off the pipes. I don't find it as bad as some let on it to be and I'm still running stock pipes. i have felt the heat but I guess I've gotten use to it and how to position my leg so not to get burned. I remember that I love to ride enough to put up with the fact that I'm straddling an internal combustion engine that emmits heat as part of its business process. My other choice is to ride in a nice air conditioned Cherokee, but I only like that when I'm eating up a back woods mountain trail. |
