With a 200 to 220 pound rider and the trunk installed (1100 pounds combined weight), you can expect 13.50s to 13.20s at around 97 to 98 MPH with a stock Vision.
With VM1 cams, Lloydz top filter, and a VFCIII, running through the stock exhaust, the same bike and rider can run 12.60s to 12.40s at 104 to 105 MPH. That's a second quicker and 7 MPH faster than stock.
Here are some representative times on Dragtimes. http://www.dragtimes.com/results.php?carmodel=1503&op1=%3E%3D&data1...

| I ran stock at 13.80, then with just the top filter at a 13.55 stuff in the trunk and a heavier rider. I am yet to run it w/the cams, soon though. |

Sounds about right, since you state you're a heavier rider.
The ambient conditions of the day you go to the track can make a big difference in your times. I've often seen the same bike and rider run as much as a half second difference in ETs from one week to another just because of the conditions. If you're looking for bragging rights, your best times will likely come if you can find a day with cool temperatures and high barometric pressure and no wind or a tailwind. The wind and the barometric pressure will have the biggest impact.
Lloydz reprogram for the ECU helps a lot too, for two reasons. One: hitting the 5500 RPM rev limiter in any gear really kills your times. Two: the 6400 RPM rev limiter lets you shift at 6000 RPM (and the bike is still pulling hard at that speed with the cams), gaining more speed in each gear, and you'll cross the line in 4th gear, instead of having to shift into 5th gear right before the end of the quarter mile. With the stock 5500 RPM limiter, 4th gear is only good to 98 MPH. With the raised limiter, 4th gear is good to 107 MPH at 6000 RPM, or more (114 MPH at the limit).
My bike weighs 1100 pounds with me on it. I've got the same mods as you, with Lloydz ECU added, and it's consistently .25 seconds and 4 MPH faster than GL1800 Goldwings on any given day. The Goldwings are geared lower in 1st gear than a Vision, and accelerate a bit harder in first gear because of that fact, but once we're both in 2nd, the Vision reels them in and passes them by 3rd gear.

Posts: 170 Barrington, NH | If I had teh Rev extend I would bat that I would have been in 12.0/11.90 range on my 08 street Vision. Another note that will help is to fill the rear shock with air, it will really help with the 60ft times. Another trick I learned after selling the Vision... |

Posts: 170 Barrington, NH | When I ran that 12.43 I was 245lbs as well, I have lost 60lbs since then as well. I would bet that if I had that bike back now I could run 11.70s or maybe even 11.60s with the rev extend and less weight... I might get the chance again, I have someone ionterested in my XC, I want back on a Vision!! |
