Posts: 161 Albuquerque NM | Yesterday I went with my father and brother to do the experienced rider course offered by the Motorcycle safety foundation http://online2.msf-usa.org/msf/Default.aspx. What a great experience that was, and while I'm proud to say that all of the information they shared with me I already knew the opportunity to practice those skills in a controlled environment will probably serve me well. If any of you have the opportunity I highly recommend doing it. |

There is also an advance rider course, ARC, that is offered by the MSF. All of these courses along with the BRC, entitle you to a 15% discount, depending on your provider. I have progressive and they offer the discount. |

By clicking on MSF Home, it will bring you to MSF's home page. The actual/correct link is: http://www.msf-usa.org/ |

Posts: 161 Albuquerque NM | Thanks for adding the right link, meaculpa. I haven't called my insurance yet, but I think they'll offer me a discount. I wish we had more advanced courses here in Albuquerque, but they have a hard time filling the second level course. The instructors told me about the sport bike course offered at the air force base, but I don't really have access to the base. I may plan a trip to Denver next summer to take the advanced course. |
