I am going to assume you are saying that your bike spits and sputters when running at a steady speed, but smooths out when the throttle is opened up.
If that is the case, it is probably NOT fuel related. The first things to check would be the air filter and the throttle bodies. Try cleaning the throttle bodies. If that doesn't fix the problem, then replace your TPS. It is a common GM part that cross-references to a Borg-Warner EC3048. The OEM GM part is prone to failure, and will cause the symptoms you are describing.
