| Curious about the Corbin smuggler trunk set up. Has anyone bought one yet and if so, how do you like it?
I am assuming the seat and backrest come included in the price.

| So how does he like it? I've heard bad things about the comfort and of the seat as well as quality problems with Corbin but I've never dealt with Corbin myself. |

Posts: 11 Surrey BC CANADA | I had a Corbin dual tour heated seat last me for 2 bikes.
Both bikes had the beetle bags as well.
I sure miss them.
Quality and comfort was incredible.
No complaints at all, other then my credit card complaining a little.

Can you clarify this a bit, Nepper? It's a bit ambiguous. Are you saying that you have heard bad things about the comfort of the Smuggler seat/backrest, or are you just generalising about Corbin seats ?

| I have a first impression writeup on theVOG.
cliff notes:
seat is stiffer than stock, will update as it breaks in
seat is wider than stock, at a stop the edge for me digs in a little to the upper back of my leg. I'm 5'8
I have stock bars and find leaning/sliding back firmly into the backrest leaves my arms a shade too extended but not unbearable.
Quality appears top notch
Storage is lacking for anything tall or larger than a tablet. gloves, glasses and a small humidor should fit fine or a few beers ;-) |
