Posts: 495 Carrollton, TX | I was wondering how many of you rode your bike to work today in support of National Ride to Work Day. I got up real early to meet about 40 bikers from my work for breakfast and then we rode together to work which for me is EDS Corporation in Plano, TX. We had some employee’s film our entire ride in to work and it was a lot of fun. We also had a brown bag lunch in a special area for all the bikers so we could talk bikes and share stories. It was interesting for me to meet many new people at work that ride. We had a wide variety of bikes but the Vision was the star of the show and I spent most of my time demoing all the features of the bike and passing out business cards for my dealer. Tells us about your ride to work today. |

| I rode to work today as I do just about every day, but today my Fiancee decided to ride her new Suzuki Burgman 650 (early wedding present) to work for the first time, 46 miles each way for her, so I escorted her (by her request) to her work, then rode from there the 57 miles to my factory (the normal ride for me from home would be 11 miles). |

Posts: 3006 San Antonio, TX | I received my Vision on July 3rd. I have taken the Vision to work on six of the eight working days since then and back to work on two late nights.
I did not ride on the 7th and 8th. The weather man got it right. They predicted heavy rain for the drive home on both days and they were right. On my normal drive home, in heavy rains, one hill I climb becomes a river about 8 to 12 inches deep and the water runs down the road at 25 miles per hour. No problem for the Trailblazer but it is to be avoided on the Vision. |

Posts: 173 Prescott Valley, AZ | I ride to work every time I can, but as luck would have it I was off today (Tuesday and Wednesday are my weekend as I work Sat & Sun), BUT I made it a point to ride 50+ miles to breakfast with two other bikes! I'm the only rider at the office but I do get lots of questions about the Vision from many of our customers. I've been doing the Ride To Work days for many years and you really can see a difference. And yes, visionbob we that still do the work grind daily are in fact looking forward to THAT day, we'll get there eventually!!!!

Posts: 600 Linwood, MI | Every day is Ride Your Bike to Work Day for me. As luck would have it, thunderstorms were predicted, so about 50% of the HD riders drove their cars. Made it much easier for me to find a spot in the usually-crowded motorcycle parking area. |

Posts: 171 San Antonio, Texas | I agree with Radioteacher--6 of 8 since picking up the Vision on July 3. However, I did meet with 12 or 13 of my riding buddies (Research Riders) here at work for breakfast. They block off a part of the cafeteria parking lot for us, so there was a striking assembly of all those bikes of differing styles and sizes all at once. The Vision drew loads of attention from the group--as it should! |

Posts: 98 Santa Maria CA | Rode to work today and about every day. Its nice to get a 70 mile ride in before work and than a 70 plus something after work. If I had to drive a car every day Id go nuts ( I guess that would be Nuttier ) |

Posts: 235 Evergreen, CO | Yep, I rode to work yesterday, but the ride home was not very fun. Stop & go traffic on I-70 in Denver, hotter than blue blazes! At one point I was going about 15-20mph on the freeway, and the temp readout on the Vision said 108 degrees. Still better than in a car though! |

Im just at 2000 miles and it seems to be running smoother than when i first purchased the bike. GOD I LOVE MY VISION 2008 Midnight Cherry Street.</p>

I've been at work for the last 3 days straight, so it's hard to ride there when you're already there. I'll be riding Friday to go home. I'm in Bethesda for work related training. I met a guy up that rides a burgman and says it is one great scoot. I just want to ask you T-man what you think of it. His other ride is a Harley so that is a tough comparison, but a Vision, I'm just curious. |

Posts: 115 Victoria, BC | I still have a Burgman 650. I think it's the most versatile motorcycle on the market today, especially when you consider the fairly low price & it's awesome Electronic CVT transmission.
I got stopped a Police road block today (looking for kids taking alcohol to the lake). The female officer asked me what kind of scooter I was riding. I smiled and said it isn't a scooter, but a 'step-thru' motorcycle. She smiled back & said it's exactly what she's looking for.
