Posts: 2300 Georgia, west of Atlanta | Will all 2008-2013 Victory Freedom 106 engines fit in a Vision frame ?? I'm not sure if mounting points on the heads are the same for CC bikes, Hammer style bikes and Visions. |

Posts: 2300 Georgia, west of Atlanta | I'm thinking of getting a Ebay engine or engine from Insurance total loss division to use the top end for building purposes. I want to have the cylinders big bored with the iron sleeves to 116 cu in and the heads ported and big valved. This way I'll have very little down time. Plus I can do this at my leisure and really find out how these things tick. Knowing how much air a stock head flows @ 10" pressure before and after porting, stuff like that. I like to know all about the internals of engines. I know almost everything there is to know about hot roddings Harleys. But now I'm a Victory man..........So I want to become more educated in the ways and means........

| would think and 106 frame would except any 106 motor.
No you could not put a 106 in a 100 frame.
Vic hasn't changed the motors except for the gears. Best thing would be to call Lloydz and get his advice first
By the way we all ready have steel lined cylinders. Ask Lloydz about the tranie gears too |

I believe the stock Victory motors are Nikasil coated aluminum.

Correct all stock Freedom 106 engine cylinders are Nikasil lined. The 116" big bore kits use cast iron liners for structural rigidity. I'm not sure about the older 110" and 114" big bore kits. If you are really interested call Lloyd Greer, he'll tell you. |

Posts: 169 The Vic Shop - Central Iowa | The crate is from something else - no the engine did not come from China!
I plan on going 110" Nikasil with this one. It is going in my '08 Vision. |

EDIT: DAMN CHART IS TOO BIG TO ATTACH!
