Fellow Riders

I am currently researching weatherproof/rain uninsulated motorcycle gloves for summer riding. I figured the best resource is the folks on our forum. If you have a recommendation please share them.

Tom,

Here are the ones that I use:

I'm pretty happy with them. I would make sure you try them on somewhere...if you can.

rollin' has the real rain gloves and they are guaranteed not to leak. you could do an internet search, they are completely dipped and are the best, around $70 if I remember correctly.

Thanks

michaelcl1970...do these gloves breathe or do your hands sweat after riding for a while?

varyder, which gloves are you referring too?

Thanks again!

I carry waterproof slip-ons that you pull on overtop of your regular gloves if needed. Just like rain-gear.
They take up NO room in my luggage, require NO maintenance - and they do the job. You can find them anywhere rain-gear is sold.

Ditto on the glove covers. Been using them for more years than I can remember. On my 3rd set now. I have never seen rain proof gloves that let your hands breathe AND keeps them dry. Let us know what you finally wind up with. Just curious.

After trying several gloves and slip ons that kept the rain out well, I realized wet fingers are better than breathless gym sock treatment they gave my hands. In warm weather I just ride on with my smx10 gloves and enjoy the cool rain. The mesh dries in minutes when out of the rain. If its cold out I roll with the gerbings heated gloves. Rain proof and warm. Good luck

These are what I use:

Breathable yet waterproof. Very comfortable as well as having some protections for if you go down.

Cycle Gear sells a good glove, and though I know some will hate it, Harley sells excellent rain gloves.

Hey XRsteve..is there a particular cycle gear glove you recommend? I stopped in there yesterday (5 minutes from my house) but nothing at the store seem to fit the bill.

Street Eagle : The ones I have are BILT and they do run a little small. I usually wear a L but these are XL and are a tiny bit tight...........Work well though.

I bought a pair of fleece gloves years ago at Laconia. They were $12 back then. Cabala's has some by Remington for $15. I don't care if my hands get wet I want to maintain my grip and stop the sting of the raindrops.
I know someone that wears dish washing gloves. Yeah he's cheap.
