Posts: 2300 Georgia, west of Atlanta | Yes, I'm just getting used to my S1L2 pipes and they sound pretty good and look excellent. But I'm gonna try a set of thundersticks. They just arrived today. I want something with a little deeper rumble like the CFR's on my 08 Vision. I'll let everybody know how it works out.
Yes I may be a nut for changing so soon but it's nothing new, I once went through a 2-1 Bassani, CRF true duals and finallly settled on a V&H Pro Pipe HO 2-1 for my old RoadGlide all in a three month time period. One good thing about HD pipes is there's alot of people to buy the old ones................
Cheers mates.......... |

| Vic have so much gear noise you should stand by the side of the road and have a Buddy make a few pass's so you know what yours really sounds like |

Posts: 2300 Georgia, west of Atlanta | MAx, I'm gonna make a video of the 2008 bike with CFR's right beside the 2013 with the Thundersticks. Both on and off throttle and at idle. First one then the other with the camera at the exact same distance. Should be interesting. My ears say the Thundersticks are a tiny bit louder but the CFR's have a more booming sound even though the sticks boom too.................Both bikes have Lloydz top airfilters ( the new blue ones ) and both have
PC-V's. The 2008 bike has a VM-1 came though........ Hope to do it next week, my buddy has to come over and be throttle man while I film. |

Oh and by the way, if I ever sell the 2008, I'm keeping the CFR's and the stock pipes will go back on........ |
