Posts: 16 Grafton, Oh | The dealer I purchased my Vision from installed a reverse kit and will not replace the panels they ruined. I need pics of dealer installed reverse to show the owner what it should look like.
Find my pics here

Posts: 1066 Peru, IN | I'd hold off on the Attorney General for a bit. Try MaVic corporate first (district rep?). If they don't get things fixed, then maybe the AG. As long as it's just a cosmetic issue, give the system a chance to work. If it's a mechanical issue, press harder. It sucks but at least you can still ride while someone's figuring out what to do. |

I would give MaVic first shot at this too but only up to a point. If you don't hear from them within three days then contact youR A.G. |

Posts: 16 Grafton, Oh | Ma Vic said it is all on the dealer. I need some ammo to show the dealer. I sent them pics from the net and they said "those are factory installed". So I want dealer or owner installed pics to show him. Any pics would be greatly appreciated. |

It's the lack of care from the factory that Victory needs to address, not only in your situation but across the board. The most successful car and motorcycle manufacturers insist their dealers take a look at the larger picture. |

Posts: 16 Grafton, Oh | Vic did call them but it didn't seem to do any good. I asked the very nice lady "shouldn't they hold their dealers to a higher standard?" She said they do but wouldn't give me a email to send the pics to. The dealer said they would replace one of the panels because they followed the given templates. I need to prove the hack of a mechanic didn't do that. So I need as many pics as possible. They hadn't installed one before so they don't know what it's supposed to look like and the hack threw away the evidence. |

| Victory could get a bit more involved if they wanted too. They could request a meeting between yourself, a Victory rep and the dealer and resolve this. |

Dealer wants to screw you? Screw him back... I say!

Posts: 16 Grafton, Oh | Unfortunately it is a 2012 blue. None on the floor. I need either pics or the templates to prove to them they screwed it up. Visually looks like crap, you would think that would be enough. |

Posts: 880 Orlando, FL | Ma Vic really guys? And where does one get that number? Personally I don't have time to wait. Ma Vic could be 6 freaking months. Take pics, document everything, and tell them the next call will be from your attorney if this isn't fixed ASAP! |

Posts: 16 Grafton, Oh | Their number is on the website. It will cost more for the hour of time for the attorney than to just purchase the panels. The sales manager said he will get them for me for dealer cost. Yes there is princable involved, but at what cost. |

Posts: 1066 Peru, IN | There's another solution. Ride around with the crappy panels for a while. Every time someone tells you how bad they look, let them know the story (briefly). Make sure you're honest and don't put anything personal into the story. Just a simple, "I had Dealer X install the OEM reverse option on my bike and you can see what a hack job he did on the panels.". Don't say they're a bunch of crooks or how you'd like to get back at them. Assuming the dealer is local, they'll hear about it eventually. Maybe they'll man up once they do. Of course, I'd still talk to a Vic rep first. |

Again, contact your A.G.s Office, you pay their salary and they do work for you, also contact the local TV stations with a Consumer advocate segment. |

Posts: 691 Manchester, CT | I've taken several shots of my installed reverse kit (this was installed this week). I'm at lunch for Mom's Day right now but will post them. Looking at your pix the dealer butcher your's. with my install it looks like it came out of the factory. Another path of recourse is the MVD. |

Posts: 691 Manchester, CT | Here are the photos my reverse kit installation. If you need other angles/photos just let me know. Note - The shot from above - left side of the bike/reverse motor color black, is reflecting onto the chrome rear panel. Look closely and you will see that the panel matches the contour of the motor perfectly.

Posts: 188 Tifton, GA | I bought my kit from a guy that bought it from a dealer going out of business. It had the panels with the kit so mine are a perfect fit, but don't think they will help your case. See if the dealer will get that kind panels if still available. |
