Posts: 208 Edmonton Alberta, Canada | I have 5 years on original battery. Thats five years of cold storage, 5-7 months storage per year. Never ran down, never on a battery tender, never disconnected, and never on a battery charger. I always make sure I go on a good ride (20 - 25 mins) just prior to parking it.
Just sayin!!! |

| i live in the same place that my original battery lived. Hot or cold, doubt thats stands to reason a new battery would last less than a year. But nevermind, I got what I needed from Johnnyvision |

Posts: 1632 Jasper, MO | It happens. My battery in my new (at the time) 2008 Vision died suddenly only three months after I bought the bike, during riding season. The replacement is still going 4 years later. I don't blame the dealer for that. Sometimes you just get a bad battery.
Your new Yuasa will fix you up.

43k miles - I ride year round.
In the Southwest
I do think this winter will need a new one as last winter when it got down below freezing she turned over pretty sloooo.
So guess it is a bit of a crap shoot on quality.
