Posts: 79 Louisville, KY | I had asked you guys about the 2009 or 2013 vision and got a lot of responses.
Picked my Black 2013 Vision up on 5/7 and have been riding it for my break in.
Let me tell you, this thing is awesome. I was a little concerned about my first fuel fill after hearing all the horror stories on here. I was surprised the fill up went so fast and I got my tanks all the way full first time. My VN2000 had to be filled slower than this bike to get the tank all the way full.
I have just over 275 miles on the bike right now and will be riding to kentucky this week as well.
I just love the way this bike rides.

So why are you telling me that Chuck? I told my local dealer I was committed to buying a black 2013 as soon as he had one way back 2 weeks ago but I have still have another week to wait. Now I ask you, is that fair? |

Posts: 691 Manchester, CT | Good luck with your new ride kin52! Did you put any accessories on it or are you a minimalist? I included a link to black 2013 VV. The only chrome that isn't on the bike is the controls, pedals and bars. Last night I picked my bike up from the dealer's after they installed a reverse kit which also has a chrome cover. Also, I am still waiting on the passenger floorboards and dain pedals to get installed. I am also installing a Jurock 16" flip shield when it comes in. I will post new pics when everything gets installed....pedals, floorboards, dragon Bob dash bag and rail grips. Oh one last thing, I also installed vision 8 ball's springs and cartridges in the forks. I will be sending out a report on the new suspension once I shake it down.

Posts: 79 Louisville, KY | The only accessory I've added is the heel toe shifter.
I had one on my old bike and I knew I would miss it.
This really is a great bike. I've been riding in the rain alot to get my break in miles out of the way.
I have a 330 mile ride back to kentucky this evening and wanted most of my break in done first.
The only other things I really want to add are cams and slightly louder pipes.
I've already had three people come up to me and say Wow nice.
My harley buddies say they don't like the looks but the people on the street are atracted to it like a bug light.

They're just jealous. Everywhere you go, from gas stations to Walmart parking lots, you will have people coming up to you to ask about it--riders and non-riders alike. Their Harleys look just like thousands of other Harleys in the world--nobody notices.
After you get the cams and air filter and fuel controller, they're going to be even more jealous.

He won't know if they're jealous or not. They won't be able to catch him to tell him. |
