I was looking for your feedback on the AMA and membership. I know the AMA is out there fighting for motorcyclists' rights.
If you are a member, why did you join and what are some of the benefits you take advantage of.
Thanks in advance! |

Discounts at Choice hotels-15%, Red Roof-20% and Motel 6- 10%. 10% off orders at Bike Bandit. Discounts at a bunch of other places. I haven't needed the towing. I have used the discount codes. I joined for the roadside assistance prior to taking my first real long touring trip for the piece of mind-particularly since the Victory network is a little thin. The cost is pretty cheap so I keep renewing until there is a reason not to. |

I was disgusted with the fact I had to pay for RV coverage to get my motorcycle covered, Premium coverage if I went more than 7 miles from civilization, and spouse coverage in case my wife had problems. AMA covers ALL vehicles owned, ALL family members and 5X further tow distances. All for the same price as a basic AAA membership. I feel the AMA is more in alignment with my views for governmental control as well. |

Good point. They are the NRA of motorcycling. |

I like that. Also, I joined for the roadside assistance. I like the peace of mind on long trips. The motel discounts are cool and as others have said , they fight for biker rights. I'm a lifetime member. Also get a magazine with some good info in it sometimes. |
