Posts: 2300 Georgia, west of Atlanta | I know there are some members that have 116" Lloydz engines. Can you tell me about all the good and bad (if any) aspects of the engine. I know it's stronger, seen all the dyno sheets. Wondering if there are any particulars you might share with me. I'd like to find out as much as possible before sending cylinders off to be re sleeved. Thanks in advance..........steve |

| I have 28k on the my 116. I love the power, the only issue I have had is detonation below 2,500 rpm's. Lloyd tuned it out with a timing wheel and some changes to the Power Commander. I believe that Lloyd changed the piston design since I did mine in 2010 and detonation is not an issue now.

We're using the VM1-HP cam or the VM1-T cam on the Vision and X bikes, although you could use a VM1 if you already have it. The last 116 Vision I can with a simple VM1 still did 130tq. |
