Posts: 215 W'ford Tx | Was able to buy the factory SSG paint from the local dealer and with the beautiful weekend here's what I've been able to accomplish so far. The dash, front panel and 2 side panels. Paint matches perfectly.

I'd remove the pinstripes, too. I'd prefer some bolder stripes in either a bolder (orange?) or more subdued (black?) color. |

Posts: 178 LaGrange, GA | Very nice -- looks fantastic. I've been thinking about doing those panels on mine in black. I'm afraid even with the OEM paint my not-so-skilled painting might result in the panels not quite matching the rest. That's why I figured a contrasting color might be safer for me. |

How do those engine heat deflectors work for you?

Posts: 215 W'ford Tx | What I used was actually 3 different colors. Super steel gray, clear metallic & clear Pearl. I know they actually make spray paint that you can use instead. The leather heat shields work like a champ. There's a Guy in Ft Worth that makes them & they're under $30 shipped. Worth every penny. |

Posts: 215 W'ford Tx | I've looked though all my stuff and even hit up eBay. I can't find crap. If I come across it again I'll shoot you a PM. I found it originally on eBay and then realized he was a local cat. He just needs the year make and model and he does the rest. |

Looks good! Here's what I had done to mine recently. This was done by a local guy (Galesburg, IL). He did it by paint matching...I think he did pretty goo with the matching!

I would be interested as well. |

Posts: 63 Calgary, AB, | Michael, VERY nice. Damn,I' justified not having painting done on my '08 Cherry,, mostly to cover the brushed aluminum coloured trim pieces, BUT now I see the contrasting effect it's making me start to think again.! Very nice |
