Posts: 3204 Memphis | A guy at work just bought an '08 Screamin Eagle Ultra with Rinehart True Duals installed. (Over $40K out the door.) One of the other Harley guys told him, "Hey, you need to go head-to head with Tom's Vision. See who can get to 100 mph the fastest." SE guy responded "No chance. I'd have to kill myself if I lost." |

Posts: 117 South of Houston Tx | I was at the local HD store yesterday getting some oil, they had one there for 38 and change. I'd have to kill myself for paying that much just to find out my A$$ still got sore after a couple hours of riding knowing I've been in the saddle of my vision for 23 hours with no problems! |

Posts: 1324 So Cal | No comparison. My 02 HD, in stock trim, would only hit 90 going down hill. With the Vision, 90 is just a number you come cross headed for 100+, and all in 6th gear! Not something I try to do, just something that happens before I realize. |

Posts: 3006 San Antonio, TX | I find that the Cruise Control helps keeps me from wandering off of the posted speed. I am in no great hurry.
Last week, the friends that I rode with jumped on me for going the speed limit when I was in the lead. They wanted a better look at the bikinis swimming in the river beside the road. I can not blame them, who could.
Plus, running the speed limit or less helps me keep an eye out for any goat that may impede my path......four legged, four wheeled or any other style goat. |
