I also tried a Hankook. I didn't like it, the Ventus has a very soft sidewall, on hard turning with acceleration you can get a lot of flex. My ventus only lasted to about 13k and was shot. I am on the aggressive side in my riding style. After the Ventus I went to a Michelin alpine RF. I will stick with the Alpin, 19k on the tire with lots of mikes left. Smoother ride and better cornering.
Good luck

Got ya, running a hitch I see. The alpin doesn't come in 185. However the Dunlop winter sport does, I know a lot of guy here us them, and I've seen nothing but stellar reviews.

Purely out of curiosity do you just respond to everything just for the hell of it? Or have you completely forgotten how it was when you got your Vision? Maybe you were born a Vision Expert......Just so you know, most of the rest of us were not born into brilliance.

Eh...i have been frustrated as hell trying to go to darkside.....i have a hitch so limited to 185 or 175.....cannot get dunlop run flats.....cannot get Michelin....cannot get bridgestone g109s....could not find Hankooks but lucked out Fri and found 2 through Canadian Tire.....now i have them i see concerns over the skimppy sidewalls.....they sure are thin....tire says god for 1074 lb at 51psi

Question ......those that have run the Hankook's what pressures did you try??

Thanks

Still running the Winter Sport but will consider this when I need a tire; don't know anyone that has run one yet.

I am currently running the Goodyear Fuel Max 175/60-16 (see sig line below) on the rear of my 2011.  I've been running this tire for about 8,000 miles with no problems.  I originally got this size because I had a hitch installed.  I've since removed the hitch, but have lowered the rear 2 inches.  I run between 36-38 PSI in the tire.  It handles well in the rain and I have ridden the whole BRP and Dragon with this tire with no problem.
