Does the Gunner Tips change the sound of the exhaust or are they only for looks? My exhaust is Factory Stock.

LaPorte,Tx. | Uncle, on the stock tips, I'm not sure, probably no change. I have the stage 1 level 1 mufflers and I believe on low speed there is a "phew" sound. I can only explain this at the openings of the "gunner" crosses over the opening of the level 1 opening (1-5/8") which is larger than the stock muffler. At higher rpm, don't believe there is much sound difference. Take care. |

Pittsburgh, PA | just looks... and btw the directions were crazy for installing them... lol I was able to get mine off and on in 2-3 mins each. All i had to do was remove the 3 bolts that hold the tips. The directions were showing all kinds of extra work! I just used one tool a gear wrench.. open ended on one side and ratchet on the other.. |
