Hi alI

I am planning the purchase of a vision and may end up buying a 8 ball. Do you know can you add a centre carrier to a 8 ball?

I currently ride a suzuki v strom dl1000. On a recent trip to arizona I rented a 2012 vision and I loved it. Going to keep both bikes I want the vision for long distance trips.

Any assistance or guidancewoukd be great.

Cheers

Define what you mean by center carrier.

You can add a radio to an 8 Ball. It's very expensive but it's been done. There's an aftermarket center stand (Witchdoctor sells it...I forget who makes it) that's supposed to be pretty good. I've never heard anything good about the official Vic accessory center stand.

Absolutely! It's not cheap (around $1600US for a brand new one) but it's simple. It takes about 3 minutes to remove the panel covering the trunk mounting area and 4 bolts to bolt the trunk on. After that, it's 1 electrical plug (that all Visions have) and away you go.

Watch this.

He must be from across the pond as they say, with that terminology. That is a real good price for a trunk from Johnnyvision! You had better jump on that quick! Enjoy your new Vision 8 ball. Great bike! Denny

One thing to keep in mind, if you buy a trunk later the keys won't match. Of course there is a work around have a new key cut on one side for the ignition and saddlebags and the other side cut for the trunk.
Damn Yanks talk funny....
