Hi everybody, again greetings from over the pond. I am from Germany's West, the Ruhr more precisely.
Have just finalised my negotiations around a 2012 XCT which will hopefully arrive the week after next. I am only a bit concerned if a bike that big won't be a bit too much for me, maybe too hard to handle, especially with the trunk on. To be on the more confident side, I also ordered the reverse kit which my local dealer is going to install.
So far I have been a BMW rider over 4 models, but I am fed up with requent high-tech errors of the RT 1200, so I changed sides.
I hope that wasn't a foolish decision.

Regards, Wolfgang

I think you'll find the XC/XCT will feel surprisingly light. The cross bikes (and Vision) handle VERY well. That's one of the reasons a lot of us picked them.

Hi Virgo, greetings from the UK, your worries will soon disappear you have chosen a great bike. The German market seems very healthy for Victory so you are now in very good company

Welcome, it's always good to hear from someone across the pond. I'm sure you'll enjoy your new XCT and as Monkeyman said they're very light to the touch and handle well.

Welcome Wolfgang.

You will be pleased with your choice. These bikes handle much easier than their physical size would imply. Adding reverse is also a good idea considering the very narrow streets in many of the older portions of many European cities. The bike will handle great on the road, and the reverse will be of much help in the narrow and hilly streets.
