Posts: 482 Beer Collins, Colorado (there is no fort) | I tried aftermarket PIAA lights- one side made it a year and 10,000 miles. I now have all HID Hi/low lighting + stock HID cyclops light. Hopefully I wont be messing with the headlight for a while. |

| I tried the PIAA recommended by them and 1 burned out in 3 months. Going back to OEM. |

If access is difficult, consider what it is worth to go a bit lower in light intensity vs having less light. All things in life represent some kind of compromise, headlight brilliance is just one of them. |

Posts: 329 scotts valley, California | I have read through the "how to" information and concluded that attempting to change my dead headlamp bulb would cause me a lot of grief. Does anyone know the legal responsibility/liability of running with just one bulb (with the hi-intensity center light as back up)? I'm tempted to run that way until the second one quits, then have a shop do the replacement. |

"OOPS Officer! I'm sorry I didn't realize, I'll get the fixed soon." but
until then don't sweat it |

Posts: 599 New Mexico | I believe my dealer charged me just over $100 to replace both bulbs. That included the price of the bulb. Well worth it IMHO.

| So, anyone with long term experience with the PIAA 70856's?
My high beam burned out at 25,000 miles but I leave them on most of the time.
Thanks. |
