My wife started out riding my '66 Honda Benly Touring (Like a Honda Dream) for the first summer and then a '06 Suzuki S40 (AKA a Savage) for the last two years.
We picked up a '05 KP for her over the winter for cheap. I had to do some work on it and she's been cracking the whip on me to get it back together so she could ride it.

I finished it up Friday and we went for a short ride that evening but she wanted to ride more Saturday. The weather was suppose to be in the mid-high 40's and mostly sunny. It turned out to be high 30's to low 40's and cloudy. I didn't think she'd really want to ride in that crap.

I was wrong! Not only did she ride but we ended up doing 100+ miles! We stopped to let her hands warm up a few times and had a nice lunch a cool place we'd never been to. I kept asking her if she wanted to head home, NOPE! We even went 20 miles out of our way to visit grandma (her idea). She's one bad a$$ women! I've never had much luck in my life but I did get lucky once....

The best part was when she pulled up next to me, flipped her shield up and said;

"HOLY sh%t sh%t THIS THING IS FUCKEN' FAST! I got on it and was laughing my a$$ off! I had to squeeze the tank with my legs because it almost threw me off! THIS IS BAD a$$, I LOVE IT!"

I told her that her little S40 only made about 35-40hp. Now you know what 100hp feels like. I think the HP bug has bit her. AWESOME!

Not only did she ride more than I would of ever of thought in that cold a$$ weather but she wouldn't let me help her back her bike up or help in any way at all. She wanted to do it herself. She's doing a fantastic job. She's really turning into one hell of a rider! I knew a Victory was going to take it to another level, this is great!

We didn't see any other bikes on the road yesterday. It was easy for me on a Vision but for her, all I can say is WOW!!!!

SO FRIGGEN' PROUD OF HER!

Great to enjoy riding with your wife... you have a keeper ;-)

My driveway is to icy to even attempt a ride and they are calling for 4-8 inches of snow tonight.

If you put heated grips and put a heater in the seat, you may never get her to park it.
Just sayin.
Wish mine would try to ride her own.
She is a good copilot, doesn't complain, and is ready to go most anytime.
Enjoy and ride safe.

Nice looking bike. I had 8" of snow between my shop and the road. It melted this weekend just in time for another 4 - 8" of the wet crap tonight. My wife rides a CR and we have had PMS for over a month now. (Parked Motorcycle Syndrome)

It is always a great thing when your wife loves to ride as much as you do.

Yeah I agree and have already suggested heated grips, lower deflectors and crash bar close outs... Problem is, she's the CFO and cheap...

Thanks! We were suffering from PMS too. Still am a little. Hope you are able to get yours on the road soon!
