Posts: 2300 Georgia, west of Atlanta | Does Victory have a museum at Spirit Lake ?? If they don't they should start one before all early models are gone or very hard to find and restore back to stock................ 15 years isn't really long in the motorcycle world but it's a nice start........... |

Posts: 599 New Mexico | Good idea! We are planning a trip up to Spirit Lake this year (or next due to Sequester). That would be a nice little stopping point. The structure itself wouldn't even have to be that big yet. Just something to build on, with a few picnic tables outside so we can relax, enjoy a cigar, and visit with whoever happens by.
The museum would, of course, have the bikes and their history, with maybe an interactive/hands-on R & D lab and 'future' designs, a Michael Song and other innovators area, the Indian Annex, a small theater running 'Gunny' Commercials Of course a little souvenir store chock full of Victory t-shirts, hats, and other assorted memorabilia.

Looks like Harley has a pretty nice setup. They sure know how to market their product...

Anymore. There used to be one just East of the plant. Probably half the people in town work for Victory. Maybe they get employee discounts.
