| These are pics after I wrapped the console with Carbon Fiber Vinyl. One pic shows the original chrome Bezel and the other shows it painted flat black. This will hopefully keep down the glare from my eyes. this is the wrapped console in flat black.

| Had my 09 Brushed aluminun Clear coated. All they did to it was clean it with windex. It's been on for couple of years now, still look new & easy to clean. |

Posts: 63 Calgary, AB, | Banjodan, did you wrap it to get rid of the reflection near the the top of the screen, of the area up near the 4 horizontal switches. If so, did it work, using the flat black. Am looking for a solution, wrap may be better than trhing to paint flat black over the sliver color. |

| ridenfun... yes the flat black helps a great deal with the glare from the sun. my eyes are somewhat sensitive to sunlight. even tho i have a tinted sheild the sun would reflect from underneath. I tried paint before i wrapped it. it was ok,but it didnt pop. the wrap has a great texure and was pretty easy to install. check simcarbon.com |

Posts: 1365 Central Maryland | I've been meaning to do this mod as well; that shiny gloss black plastic console just shows swirls and light scratches too easily. So today; ordered the Black Carbon Fiber Vinyl Film Wrap (SimCarbon) in 12"in X 60"inches.

| got my first decent ride in with the flat black mods. I was greatly satisfied with no glare with the setting sun behind me. the only bit of glare was from the instument gauge clear lens. I wonder if this could be tinted or something? |
