You can have it recognized by OTHER blu-tooth devices, such as your cellphone - but there is no 'wiring harness'.
I use it just to yip-yap with the co-pilot or to answer phone calls. |

I don't know where the wiring harness originates, but I think it's supposed to end somewhere around the trunk. That's where the BT dongle plugs in. Once all that's plugged in, you have to pair (wirelessly connect) the SENA headset to the dongle. |

| I recently installed the BT dongle and harness on my bike. It plugs into the main harness at the rear of the seat. The dongle or dongles if you're going to have an extra one for your passenger, wire ties in the area under the trunk. It works well other than having a constant hum when the radio is turned off. I haven't asked Vic about the hum yet. I need to figure out something before I go on the next long ride with my wife since we talk a lot over the Sennas and the hum would be distracting. Anybody know how to get rid of it?

Tell it to start whistling instead?Or at a least hum a tune? Now if I could get the dongle and my Tinnitus to hum opposite tunes would they cancel each other out?

The photo on the forum you can send to my email or adolfochumilla@gmail.com ThanksHere is what you need according to the catalog in addition to the Sena unit:
BT Dongle Kit 2878916
BT Jumper Harness Kit 2878917
If you don't have XM radio then you also need the Vision Audio Harness Kit 2876143
I have XM so the BT harness plugged right into the Audio Harness. Probably that is what you're missing. Sorry for not giving complete info before. I can't send a picture without taking off my seat which I'd rather not do right now.

Posts: 1066 Peru, IN | The only real problem I have with the whole BT set up is the cost. Assuming you don't already have XM (I don't), the parts are $320 PLUS whatever BT headset you go with. So probably close to $450 for a single rider and $700+ if you want your pillion to hear, too. Wired isn't any cheaper as you have to have the CB kit (at $600) plus the cost of the wired headset. For a $20k+ luxobarge, the bike side of the BT should have been stock.
I'm done bitching (for now). One of the reasons I bought the Vision was to listen to tunes (and be able to control them from the bars). With my modular, I can't and don't have any OT right now.

| I didn't buy my 2013 Vision for the radio but for the ride. My wife & I both have SENA SMH10 Bluetooth on the helmets I went wireless with Garmin Zumo 660. My cellphone is synced to the Zumo & Zumo to the SENA. All my calls are displayed on the Zumo & I have over 1,200 songs downloaded into it. So I rock out to my tunes & wife has her own tunes on her cell.
