I posted this on thevog too but just looking for help.

I was riding all weekend and all was good until returning home last night. My clutch became very loose , where i didnt hit the friction zone until close to fully squeezed and it was almost impossible to change gears, without stepping really hard on the heel/toe shifter. I was planning on taking it into dealer tomorrow but it this anything i can fix on my own? Any ideas? I am not a mechanic of any kind and although i put on lighting myself and no issues with electrical, i dont know anything about mechanicals. One person told me there might be an air bubble and the cable needs to be bled out but I am seeking advice.

Check servicing on the clutch at the bar, you dont have your year model posted so I have to go with PG44 of the 2011 owners manual, PG72 tells how to service and free play. If it's low, try servicing it. You have nothing to loose.
Looking at the left, top, rear of the motor behind the 2nd can, you will see the clutch arm. The hydraulic clutch still has a small cable btwn the hyd system and clutch are. Inspect for frayed or broken strands. Without starting it, squeeze the clutch in as watch the clutch arm on the left, top, rear of the engine pull in. If your squeezing full throw and the arm hardly moves then most likely it got air in it some how OR worse a seal is on the way out in the handle or actuator at the motor. IF you push forward with the start, REMEMBER, your clutch handle pulled IN tells the motor your ok to start but if in gear and not disengaged, well you can figure out the danger... Hope this helps

I will check that out. Thank you. sorry i didnt post the year, but it is an 08 tour premium. I got it two years ago as a demo with 80 miles on it. I am at 12500 right now and had the 10k mile service done about 6 months ago.

Mine wound up doing the same thing. The only fix I could find was to replace the Master cylinder. I was unable to find a rebuild kit and the brake rebuild kit doesn't work. I happen to find a used master cylinder and put it on. The master cylinder will bleed itself since it is so high there are no low spots to trap air (at least on mine)! There should be a rebuild kit somewhere. If you could find it very simple to rebuild very little mechanical know how to do.
