Posts: 134 , MO | Anyone taken apart a lighted badge on a vision yet? I want to make one with the new logo but not sure if they come apart...

There are a couple of threads in this forum that explain how to take them apart. As I recall they are glued together. You have to pry them apart then re-glue them back together. The threads I remember reading did not state if the badges had to be removed from the bike first. One of the threads did say that removing the badges was a real pain.
Anyone know if the chrome ring can be pooped off without removing the whole badge? If so, does that allow access to replace the artwork? |

I had burritos the other day. I'll bet I pooped off 4 or 5 times. Whew! (just raggin' on ya) |

| On the bottom of the badge between the outer lighted part and the back black is a half moon where you can put in screw driver and pop the outer off.
The wires will keep it from falling out.
Tip one add string to wires to fish back threw.
I tuck mine a part and reglued them cause I like the look better.

| By the way the chrome ring is just glued in place. Never looked but I bet you could peal off the old badge and find a print shop to make you a transparent one
