what are you putting in cams? If not do not waist your money on a tuner for a stock motor. Even if you have exhaust and air filter.

I put in a VFC III because I put on some re-cored pipes and found that the lean condition was a bit too much.  Folks recommended a L1 reflash but since I live about 70 miles from the nearest dealer and realized that I could put the reflash $ towards the VFC - well that is what I did.  I find the ability to adjust the VFC is so easy and I'm set if I ever want to jump into a cam install.

If you are looking for a simple effective fuel controller; with a great track record. Get the VFC3 from Lloydz. It has been tailored for Vics by the best

I had the PC 5 installed after installing the Exhaust and K&N Hi Flow. It was supposed to be mapped for that arrangement but as I was on a 4,000 mile cross country trip, I wasn't happy with the performance (especially on Deceleration) so I pulled into Ness's place in Dublin, CA and they convinced me to go the whole enchilada and add the Auto Tuner. They mapped it according to some Voodoo map out of Florida and I have to say it runs like a Bat Outta Hell. Virtually eliminated all pop and the throttle response is beautiful.
I have to admit that the whole thing was rather pricey and I don't know if it would have been the same with something else but I can say that this works.
