Posts: 2300 Georgia, west of Atlanta | I know it's extremley hard to get any specific numbers from Ma Vic, but do you think there have been 10,000 Visions sold ?? This ( 2013 ) is the 6th model year and 1800 per model year would reach that number. Living in west Georgia I rarely see another Vision out on the road. When I was on my western trip through SD, MT, ID, WY, UT, CA and AZ this past summer I saw maybe 75 Visions besides the giant Victory ride in Sturgis. They seem to be more popular out west...................

| Living in the D.C. area, mine is the only Vision I ever see on the road. I thought my KP got a lot of compliments, the Vision has has become a curse with me not being able to run into a store and out as I spend a while in the parking lot talking to people who ask about her.
My wife also chimed in as I was thinking about getting a personalized plate of "MSTRSS" and she said that's wrong as Mistress is cheaper and eventually gets tired of being ridden

Posts: 122 Westchester Co., NY | I live right outside of New York City. It would be extremely rare to see another Vision. But last weekend I was at the New York Bike show and was speaking to one of the vendors. He said when he travels he sees many more Victorys in the Midwest then he sees on the West Coast and especially the East Coast. |

Posts: 57 Kansas City, MO | Kansas City area here, and I've seen 4 other Visions fairly regularly; including another Silver/Black like mine.
In fact, when I was at Austin's Victory working on my purchase, there was another guy there on a blue Vision showing off his darkside rear tire; and then another couple leaving the dealership on a black one.
So my count is up to 6 here. Do I win?! |

Posts: 880 Orlando, FL | I hear a number that was thrown out recently. 2500. Dunno, could be right.....could be wrong. Here's my math on 10,000 5 full model years. 50 states.
10,000 divided by 50 = 200 sold per state over 5 years. Or 40 Vision per state per year. Maybe someone should start a poll. What Region do you live in? NE, SE, Mid West, NW or SW. Might be informative. Seems we'd all like to know how exclusive our little club is~!
And perhaps Jedi Jeff has some numbers. Jeff, do you know how many members ride a Vision?

| I live in Fredericksburg VA (About 60 miles south of DC and 60 miles north of Richmond VA). I've owned my vision since July of last year. Prior to that, I had never seen them before. Since I have owned it, I have seen 4 other visions on the road, 1 (all white), I passed 2 miles from my house (you should've saw the look of excitement in his eyes when he saw me on mine), another (midnight cherry like mine) I found out lives within 4 miles of my house. I also passed 1 (SSG (I was in my car)), was on rt 1 about 5 miles away from the house headed the opposite direction on Rt1, and finally a cream/tan on on I95 in Woodbridge (about 25 miles away). There was also a Cream/Tan that was on the Showroom Floor of Coleman Powersport in Woodbridge that sold immediately after the Victory tour in October. Hundreds of bikers in this area communicate in a bikers forum on Facebook and through that forum, I have seen about six other members who claim to ride visions (I've never met them so cant attest to the validity). I have seen pictures of Vision Riders on another local Victory dealer's website in Southern Md http://thekustomshoppe.com/Owners%20Gallery.htm
All in all, I think this area has a decent Vision representation.

Posts: 112 Denver, Iowa | I think there is only 42 total -2012 Ness Visions... 37 of them are 49 state legal and 5 are CARB legal. That's what I read in a mag somewhere.
I've never heard how many 2009 Ness' were produced. Not every dealer got one that year (and there was about 300 dealers according to Ma Vic), but Arlen Ness website said there was less than 200 produced (still vague).
This will be on of the questions I'll have for Victory next month while I'm touring the plant. I might not get a direct answer, but I hope to be pointed to where I can get the right answer.
In the 2 1/2 years I've had my Vision, I've seen about 6 others on the road. And only two were somewhat local. My dealer told me last week that someone from Cedar Rapids, Iowa just bought a used '09 Ness Vision from out east.

Yes, that's a good idea. I was at the Harley engine plant this past August and the guide was proud to tell us they made 500 engines each day Monday through Friday. ( They don't work weeekends ). The numbers won't be anything like that but the pride in their factory production should be. Maybe you'll get an answer........... |

I wish Victory would STOP production of the VISION. I REALLY do wish that!!!
And I also say to you ALL: "Keep customizing - modifying - repainting your Vision - PLEASE! "
WHY? some might ask ...
The answer is: "So that MY completely stock Vision looks like a 'one-off' custom machine never seen before... " SELFISH I am - and proud of it !

Hell they should be proud of their increases in sales over the last few years instead of so secretive. They aren't the Strategic Air Command and no one expects them to catch Harley Davidson. One thing is for sure: there are 2 visions in my garage.......... |
