Posts: 1066 Peru, IN | First year of the Vision was '08. In '10, ABS was optional. '11+ it was standard. All had linked brakes (foot pedal gives all rear and 1 piston front). Tranny was upgraded in '11 and went from 2500 mi oil changes to 5000 mile. Radio was upgraded in '10. Other than a few cosmetic changes, for the most part, all Visions were the same. You can't put reverse on the '08/'09 but it was a $1500 option not many got anyway. 6 models in '08-'10 (Tour (with the trunk) in Comfort, Premium and 8 Ball (blacked out, no radio) and Street (no trunk) in the same). Starting in '11, there was no Street version. All were either loaded up Tour or Ness. Ness had more bling but less features (no heated grips/seat). Ness Visions were about $5-8k more than the Tour. HID cyclops was standard through '11. Early year handlebars were oval, making it difficult to mount stuff to the bars. All '12/'13 bars/controls are blacked out. |
