| Think about this with your hands that high up and your foot slips on the sand or you tricky situation are you strong enough to handle 800 pounds.
The higher your hands and arms are the less strength you have |

Posts: 70 Iowa | I put apes on my vision and wanted to update this thread. I'll start with a answer to my own question. I did not have to cut any wires, the clutch cable is long enough, just reroute it and bleed the clutch. I did order a longer cable for the brakes, I took the bolt out that holds the cable to the forks so I could ride the bike. its still tight, so order a cable first. you will need a extra set of hands to hold the bars and start the bolts. other than that its easy to do. I don't have many miles on them yet so can't give a good review. I do like the way they feel. I'll update after new cable install and a good long ride. thanks |

| I'm 5'7" and I'm looking at the HMD520 Apes. Is there anyone that's a little shorter that has them and likes them? I like the idea of having my hands up but am concerned with the 2" forward, sounds like a real stretch. |

| I can't think of a better way to bugger any motorcycle, particularly a bike like a Vision than to put a stupid looking set of ape hangers on it, but if you fellers like them thats all that counts.
Ridesafe.
