Posts: 249 Phenix City AL. | My wife got me a used front end, forks with tripple trees , for christmas, but they have for 08 only written on the trees, I have an 09. The plan is to powdercoat the lowers, rebuild the forks, then sawp them out for the ones that are on now ( nothing wrong with the ones I have , just do not want the vision to be down while getting powder coat and fork rebuild) Soooo what is the difference between 08 and 09 ???? After the swap I was going to sell or trade the front end I take off ( I will be looking for break calipers next , I am going with the conquest red calipers) I might have to sell the 08 set if they will not fit. |

| I think 08 is 43mm and 09 is 44mm
You should use the 08 trees and forks as one. Other then that no big difference. Check a parts book. You'll need new bearings and buy them from a bearing store you can get better ones at a cheaper price |
