Posts: 48 huntington In. | I have been riding off and on for 38 years. Had many bikes. My favorite were my shadows, had two 700s and one 1100. Those were sweet bikes (imho). This Vision, I eally love this bike mores every time I ride it. The ride, t he handleing, the power. Out handles 1100 hand down, almost a good as the 700s, but they weight almost 500lbs less have a much shorter wheel base and have a better lean angle. I really enjoy laying the Big Blue Vic into a curve and rolling on the throttle at the apex and feel the power as she pulls hard up off the corner and they she growls.
Was out with Monkeyman today. We hit a twisty(well what passes for a twisty around here) each time I lean into a corner my confidencein the bike and my self grows. We got in about 150 miles had a great ride. Not bad for a mid Nov day here in N E Ind.
This is the first bike I have ever been passionate about, I liked my shadows, but I rethalllly love this Vision. But I'm notelling ya'll anything you don't alreadt know. Yea I know I'm rambling |

Today, I performed maintenance on my Vision. I changed the oil. Took only one beer. It's so simple. I sort of stared dumfounded at my bike when I was finished; was like "is that all there is to it?" :-) |

The Vision has soul and character that will cause its owner to be irresistably passionate about her. |

| In the past week, I have been reunited with both of my Visions that were in for repairs. I was without either Vision for over a month.
Until I remounted both machines, I did not realize how much I missed them, and how wonderful they are to ride. We love our Visions! |

Posts: 1066 Peru, IN | What Bill said. I had a blast. I need to find some curves so I can get a bit more confident on the Vision in them. I'd slow down a bit for the few curves we have and Bill would just keep truckin'! Like he said, we don't have very many good, curvy roads in this part of the state. 20 miles of fairly rough road (and 25 miles of decent road) between my house and his but he's got that one curvy road (at least 10 miles of it). I might ride over that way Thursday just to ride that stretch again. I'm thinking about the Dragon next year myself but it'll depend on funds. AVR/new mods is probably going to take up what I have.
For those that don't know, Bill has a powder puff blue '09. Very clean and it has the S1L2 pipes. Those sound sweet, especially when he'd blip his throttle downshifting, etc.
Looking forward to another ride, Bill! |

Posts: 259 Land O Lakes, FL | I know I love mine. It's a great machine. Traded my Goldwing and couldn't be happier. Something about the rumble of the twin that just soothes me. There was a lot I loved about my wing and I'm very glad the best characteristics of it are in my vision. Things like the handling, linked brakes, great headlights etc the vision emulates perfectly and the comfort and wind protection are far superior. The wing did a lot of things right but the vision got all the things they did wrong, right! |

| The Vision is a great bike, I've owned mine for three years and I still love the way it handles and rides. I hope to get cams in it next year, from what I've read it's the best engine mod hands down. |

Posts: 1365 Central Maryland | Been having some great rides in; back and forth to work these past two weeks or so. Nice; balmy 44 degree's @ 80mph for 50 miles. Vision keeps me relatively comfortable. |

Posts: 161 Albuquerque NM | Thanks, I'm trying to introduce him to this forum as a great place to learn more about these amazing machines. He is a little slow to adopt new technology, but I think I'll try and help him build his own profile on the forum here. We will probably have Packard in his name since that's his favorite car. |
