My driving light burned out after 3 weeks. Where do you get this stupid bulb? Any idea how much they cost? I guess it's a duel filiment hi/low beam and they only use the low beam side. I was going to wire the othe filiment but I guess that will blind ppl worse then I do already. Aggravating

The HS1 is very similar to a H4 bulb but it only has one filliment. The tabs on the back are slightly different and it requires a little filing to swap.
My recommendation is NOT to use either. Get a HS1 to HID conversion kit. PIAA makes a great one... http://www.oemcycle.com/Item/product/900105398/?utm_source=NXT&utm_...

The difference between halogen and HID is enormous!!

Thanks. I guess I'll go that route. Does the PIAA fit right in? I saw another post about an HID bulb not fitting. Not sure of the brand.

OK, I pulled the bulb. It was easy to remove and replace. It is a dual filiment buld and just the low side is used. I tested low and high beam and the bulb is toast. I guess the negative contact fried. I found a new, open box return PIAA HID conversion on Ebay for $64. Can't wait till it gets here.

The bulbs fit fine you have to check aiming before putting together is what the guy said http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/DDM-35W-55W-Dual-Motorcycle-HID-K...
