| Has anyone noticed their side storage compartment doors bowing out in front? the rubber seal under door is showing,and the gap is getting wider near the seat. and is there a remedy to correct? |

Posts: 752 Broken Arrow, OK | Not sure but our right side started popping open while cruising down the road. It would catch on my wifes leg and she'd just slam it shut. Started off hard to close. Would have to slam it several times before it would catch. I had to loosen up lots of hardware, hinges, catch, lube the cable, etc and mess with it, trial and error until things now seem lined up and proper again. |

The front of the doors touched the seat when I bought the bike. A gap slowly appeared between the seat and the doors over time. I don't think the gap has gotten any worse in the last year. It is not too bad so I haven't done anything with it yet. Sounds like yours is worse than mine. |

Well I found some pics from three years ago. The first pic is a before, in the 2nd pic I'm pointing to the hinge, I can't remember exactly what I did three years ago without looking at the bike (I'm out of town right now). The 3rd pic is an after pic. |

| thanks guys. maybe ill try some adjustment or 'traction' method when the weather cools off. good to know its not common. |
