Just wanted to remind everyone to check their chrome parts before leaving the dealership.

I have installed chrome parts on my bike and my friends bike.  Quite a few times the parts had bad chrome.  This included luggage racks, and body panels.  One box had 2 left body panels in it instead of a left and right panel.

I just received 2 boxes of chrome lower valances tonight shipped in a larger box.  None of the 3 boxes were damaged, but the one chrome lower valance had cracked and flaked chome on the display surface so back it goes.

Save yourself a trip or extra shipping, check the parts at the counter or have the dealer check the parts before shipping them out to you.

Sincerely,

Tim

I noticed that Vicyory tends to lightly pack their chrome, and put it in a LARGE box, so it bounces around, and gets damaged. I had to send pieces back a few times.-----Metalguy

Amen brother! If there could be a problem with the chrome accessories I've had it!
Late, dented, scracthed, peeling, and a broken weld to boot.
It got so bad for a while my dealer inspected the parts and signed the box before they called me.

My trunk rack was badly pitted right out of the box.

They send all the good chrome to Indiana.
All my chrome (and I ordered it all) has came in ok. (so far)

My dealer did one boo boo (installing a plug) and they ordered the replacement right away.

Only problem besides waiting for weeks and months for some backordered items was the cup holder, and I fixed that myself.

BTW waiting on chrome did not ruin my riding experience. My tongue hangs out like a happy dog every time I sit my butt on my Vision.

I don't know if it could be this easy, but my spidy senses tell me returns are being repackaged.
You guys need to quit swapping parts!
