I know there was another post about this but I can't find it. Replacement is only a five minute job. One phillips head screw and two connectors. Good to have the brakes lights working off front brake again and also be able to kill the cruise control with the touch of the lever. If it ain't clicking it ain't working..........

write to Vic and ask them for a Technician bag you have earned it. Dealers don't have tech that can do it

Yep that was it.......... And by the way I ordered a second switch to stick on the shelf. That way it'll never fail again, LOL.............

Switch P/N from K&S Technologies is 12-0005. Lots of them on ebay. Found one for $6 and it arrived in my mailbox 3 days later. Took 2 minutes to change it out.

I'm on my 3rd switch now. I have no idea how long I was riding after it quit working. I ride daily, so it could have been 10k miles.?? I do know from my post above I got less than 2 years out of it. I won't be replacing the current one with K&S again. I think I might stay ahead of a failure and replace it soon with something of better quality.
