There was a 2011 Cross Country (non-Tour), and you could add a trunk to the 2011 Cross Country. Comparing that to the 2012 Cross Country Tour, the 2012 Tour model has the following additional features:
- Taller windshield
- ABS brakes
- HID low-beam headlight (2012 only -- they removed this feature for 2013)
- Heated grips
- Heated seats
- Wind management wings mounted to the underside of the fairing
- Lower fairing with closable vents, mounted on tubular crash bars (2011 Cross Country had forged crash bars and no lowers)
- iPod connector cable
- Another power outlet (total of 3) in the left storage box of the fairing lowers |

| My 2012 came with HID on lowbeam- I know it was dropped for 2013- Check for it on 2011- not sure if they had that or not. |
