Try these guys, they're 30 minutes away in Clinton. Everything else I turn up, to include VMC members are 2 hours away. I'll check back later. Remember, Vision tires are EXACTLY the same as the Honda GL1800 tires, plenteous to be found. |

Posts: 373 Lansing, MI | I hope it worked out for you. FYI, The VMC has a "Rescue Riders Database" for members. Might be worth looking into joining. The VMC is great!
Here's a quote from the heading on the RRDB:
"The Rescue Riders Database is for members of The VMC. If you do not see the list it is either because you are not logged in with your member account, your membership has lapsed or you registered for the forum but did not join The VMC. Click here to join The VMC or to renew your membership.
Members may add their own listing to the database. Click here to edit or deactivate your listing."
The RRDB is a listing of members, there locations, what they have to help you and there address / phone number...
Home page: www.thevmc.com
Make sure you check out the forums. You won't be able to see them all as a non member...

Posts: 785 Mt. Vernon, WASH. | I've always wondered why motorcycle dealers/shops operate like barber shops, closed Sunday and Monday. Cletisv is stuck waiting for the dealership to open on Tuesday to replace his tire.
Have no idea what's in Elk City or Clinton, but I'll bet they are equal with all the excitement the former and I had after a breakdown we had 11 years ago on the VENTURE when the starter clutch took a dump in Superior Montana. I bought a SUPERIOR MONTANA decal and modified it to read 'We spent a week here one day', our friends drove from Billings all the way to Superior to drag us and the bike and trailer on a trailer to the shop in Billings to get the bike fixed (about 900 miles). Suffice to say, if the state closed the on and off ramps from I-90 to Superior, it would dry up and blow away inside a week.
