Posts: 550 Tacoma, WA | Ok, maybe someone in the know will enlighten me on this one! I often compare my GPS MPH with my Speedometer. The way I see it, I think my GPS is more accurate...am I right? -------Metalguy |

Posts: 235 Evergreen, CO | My Vision speedo readout is typically 2 mph higher than the speed displayed on my GPS. The GPS is far more accurate. Use it to set/judge your REAL speed. |

| I have had the oppertunity to go through the speed indicators that are set-up to let you know that 35mph means 35..etc You must have seen the things with the led read out " your speed is". Well whenever these contraptions are set up I have taken it as an invitation to check the speedometer. Guess what ....in three different states they all agree that the speedo registers 2mph higher than on the radar speed. Just a little input. Digby

Posts: 550 Tacoma, WA | My speedo reads about 2MPH high as well. At least, compared to my GPS. I put the GPS in my truck, and it reads approx 5 mph slower than my truck speedo. My old 1971 240Z is spot-on. -----Metalguy |
