Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | I like... I still want to go this route. My "problem" has subsided some, so it's not such an issue as it once was, but I think apes would help it some. |

Posts: 215 W'ford Tx | From what I've found it looks like you'll need longer clutch and brake lines, throttle cables and heated grip cables should work fine. Is this true? I myself am interested and with an average price of just under $400 (about 375 or a tad under) I'm VERY curious. My biggest concern is that I myself am 5'11 190ish lbs. Not super strong but no where near weak (above averageish). The vision is the biggest bike I've ever owned and have never had anything with apes on it before. I don't want to shell out that kind of bling to find out it ain't my cup of tea. With the vision as scarce as it is I know I won't find another one with apes on it for me to feel out so that's the problem I have and I'm sure TONS of other people are stuck in. The price is right but I don't want to lay my bike over cause I can't hold it up now in low speed turns just to have something different. |

| sgiacci - 2012-09-07 11:38 AM Can they be rolled back toward you? You want your bars lock in place one there where you want them If you bars are loose so you can move them well riding you will crash. You can take that to the bank. |

Really? Why would you think I would want them loose? I want to know if they use a clamp system that will allow you to rotate them lower, and further back.

Posts: 30 Danville NH | i did it myself in about 4 hours i would recommend two people to install. i used all stock cables and wires . the front break is very tight so i just took out the bolt the hold the block on the break line on the left hand side and it just floating now ..(the top one) .. the clutch cable had to be taken off and rerouted and bleed. i'm 5' 10" 300 lbs gorilla .. i think the bike handles so much better !!! but thats me if ya live in or near Salem NH and want to sit on it and check it out let me know |

Posts: 23 Philadelphia, PA United States | Ok I am seriously contemplating this one too. Im 510 and think I would love this. I think the bike looks KOOL with them on and the ride must be smooth. I Would like to see a pic with someone on the bike to get a better idea, befoer I go ahead. I dont see a lot of Visions in this area and to see a moded one os rare. I think If I can see a pic of someone on it it will drop the hammer and I will buy. And if there are pics somewhere here someone point me in the right direction.
Charlie, enjoy Looks BAD ASS!!!!!!!!
