Posts: 154 Danbury, Connecticut | Hi folks,
I'm planning on flying out to Vegas and renting a bike to tour the canyons in Arizona and Utah in early October. I thought I could rent a Vision in Vegas but I'm coming up empty. I have tried Windhorse Cycles-closing, Street Eagle-closed, and Eagle Rides-no Victorys in Vegas and I read Ness no longer rents. I don't have to go through Vegas if there is another dealer in reasonable proximity to Northern AZ/ Southern Utah with a commercial airport nearby. Anyone know of anything out there? Or do I need to suffer with a Ultra Classic to re-enforce my appreciation for my Vision (like it needs to be re-enforced). Also if anyone has experience with specific must see spots I'd appreciate any ideas as I'm putting together map routes now to preload into my GPS.
Thanks! |

We went through Moab, UT and the Four Corners area last year. Some nice country. Hwy 128 along the river is beautiful.
Grand Canyon always good.
Have heard good things about St George, UT
Have a good trip.

| You have to hit Zion National Park in Utah, most beautiful scenery.

Zion is amazing. So are the other parks. You might want to set up base camp in Moab for a couple of days and do day rides from there. We went last year in late October and had great weather and got really good discounts on the motels since it was off-season.

Posts: 154 Danbury, Connecticut | Eagle Rider does not rent Victorys from anywhere near the Canyon area and Street Eagle closed up/sold to Eagle Rider. Looking like I'll be comparing an Ultra Classic-anticipating a let down but it will be interesting. I haven't been on an Ultra since the year before getting my Vision. Any version of two wheels out there will be time well spent. Thanks for everyones suggestions- Keep em coming, sounds like Zion is a must do- I'll try to cover as much as I can in seven days. |

Central Wisconsin | Hey there Big Steve! You probably thought about this, but did you ask about renting the Cross Country from any of the dealers you talked to? See you and Sue at Pigeon Forge in a couple weeks ... yeehaa!

Posts: 35 Saskatoon, Saskatchewan | I was just in Vegas in March, and went to Windhorse and got a Vision, they also had a Cross Country at the time. If they are indeed closing, then I dont know. I would check A-Team, as I was told in March they rented as well. Good luck and let us know, as I was going back and just like you, did not want to have to endure the other brand |
