| Go buy (2) half moon door knob stops at Home Depot..Peal off the backing and stick one on each side of the trunk latch bottom half...No more noise or rattles...Cost $2..Or...Order the trunk racks stops from the dealer that come with the trunk rack kit...about $4.40 ea...They screw into the bottom half on the trunk near the latch are will also stop the noises...Trunk is harder to close, but it will eliminate the rattles...... |

Posts: 763 Anderson, IN (48mi NE of downtown Indianapolis) | There is no adjustment. You will have to fix the rattles yourself. Some of it comes from the black plastic pieces on the sides of the trunk lid. The rest comes from the lid vibrating around because it does not shut tightly. These are two different issues that will have to be dealt with separately. Do a search and you will find numerous ways people have fixed these two sources of rattles. I placed foam under the black plastic pieces. As for tightening the trunk lid, here is my fix:
