My wife wanted to go for a ride on the bike.

I said "want to do an Iron Butt ride around Lake Michigan?" Her "no!"

So we did a two day trip around the lake with a stop in Hell for ice cream and then north over the Mackinac Bridge. We stopped in St Ignace. This was a new one day record for my wife - 607 miles. Our motel was nice, a great view of the bridge and the lake.

The next day we took Highway 2 over the top of the lake and back home. It was a quick ride but we still had time to eat way too much!!

Yes. I'm still using the car tire.

I like this route, there is a little of everything. Hell and crossing the bridge are fun. Nice view on Highway 2. Ice cream and Pasties are good.
