Anyone going? My plan is to leave sunday the 12th (or the 11th) leaving from Phenix City AL, riding up to the Blue Ridge PKW and ride the whole thing, they turn Left and onto the AVR. What town does the blue ridge start and end in?? Does any one want to meet up on the way ??? I am taking my camper , pulling it with the vision.

Central Wisconsin

I have gotten on the Blue Ridge Parkway at Cherokee,NC rode to Mt, Pisgah,NC and to Asheville,NC.  I think the BRP runs to Waynesboro,VA.

Maybe someone who lives down in the area can fill you in better.

Hope to see you at the AVR on Saturday.

I plan on going, need to see how my Projects are doing at work! I will be leaving from the Phillips area and ridin hard real early on Friday morning, spend the rest of the afternoon and maybe the night and then ride hard to my Lady friends house on Sat. mid-day. Wanna come along let me know but I will be movin so if your lookin for a "slow ride, take it easy" this is not going to be your ticket ;-). Just want to hear Rollin and see the factory and then get back home after getting an eyeball on all of you that are there....

I don't know what the AVR is

It's the American Victory Rally at Spirit Lake Iowa the birthplace of all Victory motorcycles. It's a couple of fun days of hanging out with a lot of Vic riders and you can tour the factory and get your bike dynoed or cammed and also see more Victorys in one area than just about anywhere else. We had a blast at the last one we went to.You might want to check out thevmc.com they have a lot of info listed about the AVR.

My wife and I are going to the AVR and plan to go home via the Michigan UP. If anyone has any not to miss roads or restaurants in the UP please let me know; never been to the UP but we're hoping to find some nice scenic routes and good food while we mosey across it.

I'll be riding out on Wednesday the 15th so that I have some extra time to enjoy the area, unfortunately I have to head home Saturday morning because I am hosting my motorcycle club's annual picnic at my shop on Sunday (yeah, I've already caught so much grief from my wife about that one!).

Does anyone know if there is a list of vendors that will be at the AVR?
